Abstract

The bachelor thesis deals with the cooling of a light source for growing algae and is divided into two parts. The first part is devoted to the description of algae cultivation processes, the selection of suitable photobioreactors and light systems, and finally are introduced the basic cooling exchangers. The second part of the bachelor's thesis focuses on the design and calculation of suitable cooling technology, the design of the cooling circuit and the choice of photobioreactor for growing algae with an efficient light source.
