Abstract

The master´s thesis deals with the efficiency of milling according to the selected tool holder of the machine tools. In the first part of this thesis there is something about individual types of tool holder of the machine spindle. Then there is a brief analysis of the clamping parts of the fixtures of the machine spindle. In the last part of the theoretical section of this thesis there is something about runout and balancing of the tool holder of the tools. In the following chapters the thesis deals with the experimental part. The experiment was focused to accuracy and roughness of the machined area due to selected fixtures of the tools. For the experiment was chosen collet, hydraulic and thermal tool holder. These fixtures were fitted with the same type of tool and following machining was going under the same cutting conditions. In the end of the thesis there is a evaluation of the experiment with the given tool holder.
