Abstract

This bachelor thesis deals with the requirements for shooting ranges. The first part focuses on the legal aspects of the construction and operation of shooting ranges, the basic characteristics and the division of shooting ranges. The second part describes different types of missile captures with respect to the used materials, and the maximum ballistic resistance and ballistic lifespan. In the third part, the probability of failures, the probability of fault-free operation and the safety factor are calculated for the mutual comparison of catches, on the basis of which the safety requirements for the impact site are determined
