Daniel Řezníček The bachelor’s thesis focuses on the comparison of 3D scanners for foot geometry digitalization. The first part describes the anatomy of the foot, traditional methods of obtaining foot geometry, and the principles of both contact and non-contact 3D scanning. Furthermore, the thesis presents areas of foot digitization applications, especially in healthcare and other industries. The final part of the thesis is focused on the comparison of selected 3D scanners and foot digitization methods. The analyzed technologies include Footscan TIGER, Artec EVA, Revopoint MIRACO, and mobile phone scanning using the CombScan application. For each device, technical parameters, scanning methodology, and output data were evaluated.
