Abstract
The bachelor thesis is dealing with a production rationalization of a chosen component from nickel superalloy Inconel 718 material. The characteristics, description, structure, usage of superalloys and nickel superalloy Inconel 718 specification, that is very hard material for turning, are described in the theoretical part. The current production of turning part, its technological procedure, current type of replaceable edge slides, cutting conditions at turning and chemical composition analysis is described in the second part. The tests of edging slides from material of sintered carbide and cutting ceramics in roughing operation on CNC machine are performed in the practical part. The emphasis at comparing selected edge slides is focused on cutting terms, results of part surface, material splinter and spindle machine load. The comparison of present and selected cutting tips is projected into technical-economical estimation of this bachelor thesis.
