Extended Operator Workplaces of Control Systems

Abstract

This work will describe functionalities of a new concept implemented in extended operator’s work places and explains the concept for integration of separated control systems. The theoretical part describes the functionalities of extended operator’s work place. The practical part starts with simple programs created for PLC AC 500 and continues with a project for visualization of a technological process. The idea of integrating such systems into one collaborative workspace is demonstrated on an example taken from industry.
