Aplikace heterogenních svarových spojů na jaderných elektrárnách

Abstract

The bachelor thesis deals with welding in nuclear power plants, with emphasis on heterogeneous joints. The work focuses on the weldability of carbon steels together with austenitic steels commonly used in the nuclear industry. It analyses the properties of existing heterogeneous welded joints and investigates suitable methods for their welding. The practical part of the work includes the welding of carbon and austenitic steel, including the design of the welding procedure (WPS), macro and micro analyses and Vickers hardness and microhardness tests. The experimental results were evaluated and discussed. The aim of the work is to assess the assumptions of material joint properties, durability and ensure the functionality of heterogeneous as well as homogeneous welded joints on nuclear power plants. The results could contribute to the optimization of welding processes in the nuclear industry.
