Biomechanika - Osteosyntéza zlomenin calcanea

Abstract

This thesis deals with biomechanics of intramedullary heel nail C-NAIL and its preparations, numerical calculations and experiment. In numerical calculations, implants are modeled in direct interaction with bone tissue from CT scans. The material properties of bone tissue are described by several models, most of which correspond to the reality of inhomogeneous in parts istotropic material model with modulus of elasticity for each elements. This results in a more accurate distribution of the force applied to the individual parts of the implants. Bone tissue models were created using CT images in Materialise Mimics software. Measurement of the foot load received the magnitude of dynamic coefficients that were applied in numerical analyses. These results also serve to optimize implants. This improves their reliability and strength, contributing to faster and easier patient care. For the experiment, expecially fatigue loading, not only for calcaneus was designed universal test fixture. Lightly there was also solved problem of locking screws int the plates.
