Abstract
The bachelor thesis deals with research on the use of energy of small water flows.The first half focuses mainly on the description of small hydro power plants. The division of water turbines and hydropotency of the Czech Republic. In the practical part I propose the performance parameters and the composition of turbines for the site of the river Olše in the region of Moravia-Silesia. On the basis of the flow curves and the gradient is designed a small hydroelectric power plant. At the conclusion of the work I devoted to the economic, environmental and energy assessment of the project.
