Zhodnocení hospodaření vybrané velikostní skupiny obcí v České republice

Abstract

One way to find out if a municipality manages as it should, on a comparable scale, is to compare it with other municipalities that have a similar degree of delegated competence and a similar number of inhabitants. Be inspired by the best and avoid the worst. The aim of the diploma thesis is to evaluate the management of selected 12 municipalities with extended powers in the Czech Republic for the period 2012 to 2019. This thesis should confirm or refute the research hypothesis, which is assumed that the inclusion of economic results in the results of the analysis of the municipality will represent a less benefit. The diploma thesis compared income and expenditure indicators in the period 2012-2019 recalculated per capita. The indicators were used individually, and also within the multi-criteria WSA method. According to the WSA method, the municipality of Klatovy was rated the best in the period 2012-2019 and the municipality of Náchod the worst. Then we focused on the economic result indicator, ie how the economic result will affect the benefits of municipalities obtained by the WSA analysis. In 52% of cases (in 101 out of 192 cases) the economic result affected the final benefits of the WSA analysis positively. For this reason, we refute the established hypothesis and lean towards the positive impact of the economic result on the economy of the municipality.
