Abstract
The thesis focuses on the study of machining nickel alloys. Due to the chemical properties and the hardness of this material, this alloy is ranked amongs Hardly-machinable materials. Theoretical part of this Thesis dealing with nickel alloys, specifically with material Inconel 625. In the practical part are described suggested machining strategies for longitudinal turning of this alloy. These strategies were accomplished in the laboratory on CNC Turning Center DMG Mori NLX 2500, at which were measured forces, acting on the cutter for every strategy separetely, by dynamometer.
