Abstract

The aim of this diploma thesis is the structural design of the multi-part hinged cover. The cover can be manually tilted if the tram is to be connected. The theoretical part describes the cover solution for different trams and types of coupling. Following is the writing of requirements and the proposal of kinematic tilting mechanisms. Then the thesis deals with the design of the cover and the description of its components. Finally, control calculations are performed. To this thesis is enclosed a drawing documentation.
