Abstract

This thesis contains theoretical analysis production of electric power in small water power plants. Water turbines are described on usage the proper correct conditions and situations. The best turbine has been chosen and its effectiveness is founded on universal characteristics of turbine which has unitary parameters. This thesis contains a calculation of installed capacity and yearly return from operation of small water power plant. The approximate period of return investment costs for construction small water power plant is founded at the end of this thesis.
