Abstract
Bachelor thesis deals with the strength and deformation analysis of a frame carrying the foundry mold. The analysis was performed by finite element method using three kinds of elements: beams (BEAM 189), shells (SOLSH 190) and 3D (SOLID 190) elements used by software ANSYS 12.0 and their subsequent comparisons. Three sets of results were obtained. Error ond effectiveness comparisons were provide for each element.
