Rekonstrukce a optimalizace zadního zavěšení jízdního kola

Abstract

This diploma thesis deals with an engineering design of a rear springing fork on the Race Bike company bicycle. The introduction of the thesis provides a review of the commonly wholesale produced rear suspension designs, springing forks and the ways of their attachment to the frame. Further there is provided an analysis of the suggested engineering design of the fork and a concept of a new design is drawn up. Calculation part of thesis is dedicated to the forces which the fork is exposed to and the resulting reactions of the bearings and joints. On the basis of this analysis a new springing fork is dimensioned. Strength calculation of the devised design is carried out by the finite element method. Next, lifetime calculations of the bearings and tenons are performed. The design drawing of the complete fork assembly, welded fork assembly drawing and the working drawing of the idler gear are included.
