Abstract

The diploma thesis is dealing with the measurement of the flow of bulk material using machine vision. Selected methods of measuring the flow of bulk material are described in the theoretical part. This part also describes the NI Vision Builder environment. The practical part is dealing with the design of the measuring stand and the lightning design for this task. The largest part of the thesis is devoted to the design of an algorithm in the NI Vision Builder software for measuring the flow of bulk material transported on a conveyor belt. The last part of the thesis is dealing with the verification of the function of the algorithm.
