Možnost rozšíření metropolitní sítě

Abstract

Bakalářská práce Možnost rozšíření metropolitní sítě se zabývá návrhem o rozšíření metropolitní internetové sítě o novou oblast, na které by mohl být zájem nejen o internetové služby. První část je teoretická, popisuje problematiku metropolitní sítě – funkcionalitu, její topologii, přenosové technologie a hardwarové prvky sítě. Další část je zaměřena na analýzu současného stavu firmy. Jaké jsou její cíle, poslání, nabízené služby a pokrytí. Poslední část je praktická, zabývá se návrhem geografického rozšíření metropolitní sítě o novou oblast. Na nové oblasti byl proveden na jaře roku 2011 průzkum s cílem zjištění zájmu o dative služby metropolitní sítě. Datovými službami jsou myšleny internetové, televizní a telefonní služby. Průzkum byl proveden osobním dotazováním celkem v 8 domech s 216 domácnostmi.

This bachelor thesis named The Possibility of Expanding the Metropolitan Network is aimed on exploring the possibility of expanding the metropolitan area network into a new area and investigating the demand for internet and other services. The first part is theoretical. It describes the metropolitan area network as such – its functioning, topology, transfer technologies, and hardware components of the network. The next part deals with the analysis of current state of the firm. It discusses its aims, objectives, services offered, and coverage with services. The last part of this thesis is practical and projects the geographical expansion of the metropolitan area network into a new area of the town. An investigation into the interest in data services of a metropolitan area network was carried out in the new area of the town. By the term data services the internet, television and telephone services are meant. The investigation was carried out by means of personal inquiry in eight houses of flats which host 216 households.
