Abstract

The main goal of this thesis is to get acquainted with the production of internal threads. The theoretical part creates an integrated overview of the various types of threads, processes for their preparation and measurement. The practical part was carried in collaboration with kovovýroba Hoffmann, s.r.o. The goal was to compare cutting technology, forming technology and thread milling, among themselves. Therefore attempt was made, which was supposed to help determine the financial and time demands of production, between different technologies. The obtained values are applied in the final assessment, which shows a model example of the price difference. The observed data will be used in future for monitoring tools durability.
