Abstract
Master thesis is dealing with procedure of assessment of fatigue life according to Normative Technical Documentation - Strength Assessment of Equipment and Piping of WWER Type Nuclear Power Plants published by Association of Mechanical Engineers. Subject of analysis is a valve body, which is exposed to temperatures up to 350 °C and pressure up to 20 MPa. In first part of this work Valve and basic fatigue theory is descripted. Second part include strength analysis, fatigue damage calculation and assessment of achieved results.
