Abstract
This thesis deals with the design of single-purpose machines for tapping into modular sections ITEM as a replacement for an existing machine. The machine is provide with a spindle which is positioned in three axes. Drives of the axes provide stepper motors and ball screws through the power transmitted to the positioning axis. It is operated using the touch panel.
