Abstract

The bachelor thesis deals with the design of the module for storing four mutually separated soil samples. The list of requirements was based on ERC (European Rover Challenge) competition rules and some of the requirements were added by my thesis supervisor. At the beginning of the thesis, the research of the sample storage systems is described and analysis of the current state of the rover is done. Three variants of the modules were created from this knowledge, i.e. container, including the holder. A critical analysis was used to select the optimal variant. The optimal variant was designed in the PTC Creo program and checked by calculations. At the end the production price was evaluated and drawing documentation of each of the machined parts was created.
