Abstract
The dissertation deals with the construction of original unique universal tool for stamping of braking ribs. With the help of this tool the forces required for brake stamping ribs in the real process and in numerical calculations performed in software using the FEM method were compared. The dissertation compares the strength of different variants of material, variable thicknesses and for different sizes of deformation so as to represent the most commonly used materials in the automotive industry.
The aim of the dissertation is to analyze the difference between real and calculated forces needed for stamping braking ribs so analysis of difference between the numerical calculation and the real process. Furthermore, the results of the real process were translated into mathematical relationships so that they go to create mathematical relationships to optimize the numerical calculations and unite FEM calculation with real forming process.
