Abstract

The bachelor thesis deals with the issue of storage and the relevant part of the material flow in the company Koyo Bearings Czech Republic s.r.o. The aim of the bachelor thesis was to analyze the current situation and to design an optimal solution for the deployment of key storage items to accelerate material flow. In the theoretical part were analyzed theoretical knowledge of logistics, inventory and ordering systems and ABC analysis methodology. The practical part contains detailed analyzes of the current state in the field of storage and picking of material for production lines. ABC analyzes for repeated production were used to identify key production items and to analyze the current state of stock and picking method. In the end, proposals for optimal placement of picking material for production lines were determined.
