Abstract

The master thesis deals with design of on-board wheelchair. The theoretical part focuses on the history, distribution and current market of wheelchairs. Research deals with distribution, according to the type of drive and design and evaluate advantages and disadvantages of each type. The next section deals with requirements for the design of the wheelchair, especially in terms of safety and ergonomics. There follows demonstration of own designs, selecting of the best solution and structural design details of the chosen design. The final section includes visualizations and calculations.
