Abstract

The thesis deals with the design of mobile rack system. The thesis starts with a research that focuses on types of warehouses with a focus on sliding racking systems. This is followed by a presentation of the current state of the mobile rack and an introduction to the parameters for the proposed rack. Next, the calculation of the rack and the determination of the parameter for the structural part is carried out. In the next chapter, the structural design of the sliding rack is described, followed by the verification of the calculation with the inclusion of the dead weight of the rack. In the next chapter the FEM analysis is performed. The analysis is divided into 3 parts in which the individual parts of the mobile rack up to the complete rack are verified. In the FEM analysis the verification of the bearings in the wheels is also performed. At the end of the thesis there is a conclusion in which there is an evaluation of the work and the advantages and disadvantages over the motorized version.
