Abstract
This thesis describes a projection - design of The Equipment for processing wood waste that can be used to the cutting on small pieces with length from 1 to 20 mm and with the maximum diameter to 50 mm.
Chiseling is implemented by using the cutting device in the form as a cutting disc. On the desktop of this cutting disc are fixed firmly two chopping knives. The counter-knife of these knives is placed on the frame. Rotating disk and counter-knife work together on cutting the wood. The material is injected into a cutting area through supply gutter. The result of the processing the waste wood is chips: These chips can be used as fuel (after drying), composting material in the garden or alternative raw material for mulching bark.
Device is powered by an electric motor (3 kW), which is connected to the clutch with shaft to which is attached to belt drive pulleys. These pulleys with three belts transmit electric power to the second pulleys, which is mounted on the shaft of the cutting disc. Due to this is the power transferred from the electric motor to the chopping disk. In the whole construction is used only two rows spherical-roller bearing.
Frame of the machine is designed with due regard for the ergonomic needs of end users. The whole device is placed on four wheels to make it easy to move. A special part is a container. This container is very useful because into it falls the processed material. Therefore is not necessary to remove wood chips from the place of processing of waste wood (for example from grass).
Graphic solution is processed in these programs: AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor Professional. Strength calculations of shafts, bearings lifetime calculations, the calculation of belt drive and the control calculation of slip feathers are made in the program MITCalc and Autocad Inventor Professional.
In the thesis I used the knowledge gained at 14 day intensive course in Finland. This course was led by Dutch professors (John Elants, Wim van Grieken - Structured design - design process ", intensive course of assistive technology, Jyväskylä University of Applied Science, Finland.
