This thesis deals with verification of conformance of rotary part (the item selected for the purpose of this paper is the “rimfire gun receiver” subject to check) manufactured using the SUPER NTY3 turning lathe machining centre made by the NAKAMURA – TOME company. The paper further includes the analysis focused on the importance of metrology within the quality control system. The next section provides general description of technical inspections and the current checking operation as implemented at the Česká zbrojovka a.s., Uherský Brod. The latter has been supplemented with the description of the previous and current manufacturing technologies used, together with particular inspections focused on the selected rotary part. The following section includes the proposal regarding verification of conformance, the exact concept of the checking programme with its subsequent verification using the item selected – rimfire gun receiver. The conclusion comprises evaluation of the results achieved.
