Abstract

This diploma thesis deals with spray coating, especially the mechanical properties of HVOF spraying. The introduction of the theoretical part explains the process and method of spray coating application of materials. There are also described the spray coating methods in more detail, apply flame and apply high-speed flame. There is also described course of the adhesion test and the capillary test in more detail. In the experimental part there is described the equipment used to apply spray coating to test samples. There are also described applied materials and the tests to which the samples were subjected to the test below in more detail. The tests passed by the samples are: Vickers hardness test, torsion test, bending test, adhesion test, porosity measurement and metallography.
