Abstract

This master thesis deals with the design and description of drum thickener. According to the specified parameters was designed, modeled and drawn dewatering machine that will be used in Papcel stock preparation lines. The introductory part of the thesis is focused on the technology of paper production and preparation of substances, which are indicated by the examples of placement machine in production lines. In the following chapters is described design of the individual machine parts - tank, drum, sensing cylinders and others. The final part is concern on calculations. Those were performed for the design of drive and control calculations, focusing on the analysis of the drum shaft, sensing cylinders, springs and bearing life calculations.
