Abstract

KALOCSAI, R. Hydraulics of Press of Railway Axles: Master Thesis. Ostrava: VŠB – Technical University of Ostrava, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Department of Hydromechanics and Hydraulic Equipment, 2017, 87 p., Thesis head: Dr. Ing. Bova, M. Master thesis deals with the design of the hydraulic press power source used for the pressing wheelsets. In the first part, the reader is getting familiar with the properties, kinds and manufacturing technologies used to produce every individual part of the wheelset. Next part of this thesis keeps information about construction and functional principles of hydraulic press. The practical part of thesis presents an overview of possible conceptual solution of electro-hydraulic drive of the device. The selected ones are then elaborated into the form of the project together with the necessary technical calculations. At the end of this thesis, description of the main parts of the individual assemblies of the hydraulic circuit is made.
