Abstract

In my master’s thesis a project of a robotic lawn mower for grass area maintenance is elaborated. At the beginning of the thesis lawn maintenance is described and current robotic lawn mowers on the market are analysed. According to the conclusions of the analysis a datasheet is compiled. Three variants of the conceptual solution of the lawn mower are proposed. Using value analysis, the optimal solution is selected and further processed. The second part of my master’s thesis is focused on the structural design of the optimal variant, which is processed as a model in Creo Parametric 2.0 software. In the conclusion of the thesis the results are evaluated. The drawing documentation of the master’s thesis is documented by the compiled drawing of the lawn mower made in AutoCAD software.
