Abstract

This thesis deals with the front metal panelling of the railway freight wagons. For this task were selected cars Eas 11. group. The theoretical part contain the theory of measurement, own measurements by ultrasound, and statistical processing of measured values. It is described types of wear and corrosion, and construction of the car. The practical part is based on the measurements made on the basis of maps of measuring points to determine the area of the material wear occurs below a specified level, and propose the prediction of wear. In conclusion, is sumarized evaluation of the measured results.
