Abstract

The goal of this diploma thesis is to design and recommend measures for improving an employee appraisal system in a chosen organization based on its analysis. The thesis is divided into two major parts, theoretical and practical. The theoretical one describes employee appraisal system based on specialized literature. In the practical part an employee appraisal system of a chosen organization is analyzed by interviewing a manager of one division and by quesionnaires. Recommendations for the organization on how to improve the current system are then made based on this analysis.
