Hrubování hřídelů z oceli duplex

Abstract

The bachelor thesis deals with the comparison of quality and price of exchangeable inserts made of sintered carbides from different manufacturers in the longitudinal roughing of the shaft of stainless duplex steel X2CrNiMoN22-5-3 (1.4462). The theoretical part of the thesis deals with the necessary theory concerning turning and stainless steels. The practical part is devoted to the experiment itself. This section contains the design of the experiment, thus the choice of machine, tool and cutting conditions. The remaining part concerns the realization and optimization of the shaft roughing process within MPOWER Engineering, a. s. In the end, the results of testing of individual exchangeable inserts are evaluated from a technical-economic point of view and suitable recommendations for future experiments are proposed.
