Metody pro tvorbu OD matic

Abstract

Bachelor thesis deals with the characterization of methods that serves to create OD matrix. OD matrix, called matrix of intensity transport links, are necessary basis for planning process of transport offers. Introductory chapters are devoted to the significance of the OD matrix in the planning process of transport offers and brief description of the methods, which are used for their compilation. In the theoretical part of the thesis, two approaches have been select – gravity and trend model. Both types of methods are closely characterized in the thesis and then applied to the conditions of selected traffic network. Series of computing experiments have been made with both types of models. Results of experiments are subjected to evaluation and in the end of the thesis the advantages and disadvantages of the gravity and trend model are also summarized.
