Dissertation deals with employee hiring procedures of Tesco plc; focusing on practices of its subsidiary- Tesco Stores ČR a.s. The prologue presents the company's history, its multinational operations business profile. This section also shows detailed analysis of employee structure (employee rankings, total number of employees, its gender and age groups and work positions break-down). First chapter conveys new employee hiring methods and procedures. Next chapter explains how these methods are being applied in practice at Tesco Stores a.s. branch in Frýdek-Místek. The dissertation's conclusion offers suggestions for improving hiring techniques in Tesco Stores a.s.
