Abstract

ŠPERLICH, Milan. Influence of Brushing Technology on the Quality of the Cutting Edge Radius. Bachelor Thesis. Ostrava: VSB – Technical University of Ostrava, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Department of Machining, Assembly and Engineering Metrology, 2021, 51 p. Thesis supervisor Ing. Aneta Slaninková. This Bachelor Thesis deals with the measurement of roundness and surface quality parameters of sintered carbide inserts edge after brushing. The theoretical part of the work contains information about the microgeometry of the cutting tool edge and knowledge about the technology of brushing and blade adjustment. The experimental part of the Bachelor Thesis was realized in the Dormer Pramet company. Attention was focused on the adjustment of the edge by brushing technology and subsequent evaluation of the roughness of the tool surface. Achieved values of the K factor, in other words symmetry on the tool edge, were also evaluated.
