Abstract

This diploma thesis is focused on the analysis of employee appraisal system in selected organization. This work is divided into a theoretical and a practical parts. In the theoretical one, there are explanations of basics for employee evaluation system. The introduction of practical part is devoted to presentation of the Czechoslovak trade bank which is subsequently examined through the analysis of internal documents and questionnaires, which have been conducted in ČSOB in a retail branch network in micro regions Vsetín, Zlín and Uherské Hradiště. There were the questionnaire for evaluate employee and the questionnaire for evaluator. There are also listed suggestions and recommendations, which could lead to improve the quality of evaluation system. The main target of this thesis is an analysis of the current system of employee evaluation in the Czechoslovak trade bank in the retail branch network in micro regions Vsetín, Zlín and Uherské Hradiště and a consequent suggestions, which may lead to the improvement.
