Abstract

Subject of this thesis is to analyse motivation of employees to KAIZEN method, specifically to making improvement proposals in a chosen company. The theoretical part explains KAIZEN philosophy, its main names and methods and it focuses in detail on motivation and reward system from KAIZEN perspective. The practical part describes at first a program of improvement proposals in a concrete company. Motivation of employees to make improvement proposals is then analysed using a questionnaire method. Aim of this thesis is to answer the question why motivation of employees to take part in making improvement proposals is so low and to suggest steps which would help to involve them more in the program.
