Abstract

Ph.D. The main objective of the presented thesis is to design a suitable conveyor system of a car wash line. The specified capacity is of 50 cars per hour. The first part is the search of contemporary constructions of car wash lines. The next part is dedicated to calculations and power analysis considering the working demand of the conveyor system. The third part deals with the listing of use of the chain, its choice and calculation. The following step is the design and calculation of chain-wheels, calculation of capacity and design of chain-wheel drive. The final part contains the drawing of the described construction, tension station and drive units.
