Systém pro evidenci a vyhodnocení škod a jejich nákladů na železničních vozech

Abstract

The master's thesis deals with the design of a system for recording and evaluating damages and costs on railway wagons for a rail freight carrier. The introduction presents the current state of the incoming invoice recording system. Based on the carrier's requirements, a functional model of the new system was designed, including a data flow diagram and the resulting data dictionary. Subsequently, a data model design was carried out using an entity-relationship model. The newly designed system was implemented in Microsoft Access. The thesis describes the functionality of the user interface – invoice registration, wagon damage recording, damage re-invoicing, and the evaluation of costs incurred for the rectification of wagon damages.
