Abstract

The thesis focuses on design of solar hot water system and secondary heating of family house, using direct sun radiation. The family house is used year - round. At the beginning of the thesis was made heat loss calculation of the family house based on evaluation of thermal insulation properties. Draft of solar system is done by calculation balance. Inputs for the calculation are calculated needs of hot water heating and secondary heating. Next part of the thesis contains engineering of storage tank with heat exchangers and solar and boiler circuit, including drawings. The last part of the thesis was concerned environmental and economic benefits of the system and its return of investment calculation.
