This thesis describes the design of technological process of the shaft for an elliptical trainer. In the introduction to the thesis describes the current issue and propose new technology.

The theoretical part deals with the analysis of technological components, the distribution of the shafts, the principle determining machinability and turning theory. It is focused on the selection of individual machines and tools, including analysis marking according to ISO.

Conclusions of the thesis is to create a technological manufacturing process and implementation of economic and technical evaluation.
