Abstract

The diploma thesis compares two technologies of production of wedge plate of high-pressure forged gate valve "K12" for energy industry. The introduction describes the original technology of wedge plate production consisting of six operations performed on two machines. Subsequently, the proposed technology with a change of machine, tools, clamping and design of the part. The design of the procedure was performed with regard to the machinery of Mpower Engineering, a.s. The designed and current production is compared and evaluated in the chapter Technical and economic evaluation at the end of the work.
