Abstract
The diploma thesis deals with the design and verification of a simulation model of a traction motor of a traction rail vehicle for the assessment of its warming in operating conditions. In the introduction, the currently available traction motors of traction rail vehicles are briefly described and characterized. Subsequently, their current procedures for solving warming and cooling and theoretical solutions for calculations of warming and electricity consumption when running a train on a track section are described. Based on these calculations, a computational model analyzing these properties is proposed. The processed tabular calculation of traction motor warming in this calculation model is integrated into the proposed simulation model of the traction motor to plot its graphical course of warming when the train is running on the track section. This simulation model is validated in terms of train running on selected trains and fictitious track sections.
