Abstract
This thesis contains the design of a combined solar system for preparing a warm water and heating for a year-round occupied family house with the use of direct solar radiation. The initial chapters have been dedicated to calculate the heat loss of a family house. This thesis contains a structural design of a solar tank with a drawing documentation too. This solar system’s specific design has been derived from calculative heat consumption for preparing warm water and heating. Heat balance has been decisive for the solar collector area. The environmental asset of the system and economic evaluation within a period of return of investment costs for this project is found at the end of this thesis.
