Abstract

The bachelor's thesis is focused on the issue of drop forging of a given part according to customer specifications and internal conditions of the forge UNEX, Inc. The thesis is divided into two separate parts, where the first part is focused on a theoretical analysis of die forging with a closer focus on current trends in the production of forging parts and new trends in forges. In the practical part, an analysis of the assignment of the part required for forging is performed with a focus on the design of the shape and dimensions of the forging. The design of the dimensions of the semi-finished product and the sequence of technological operations was carried out in accordance with the valid internal procedures in the forge. The proposed technological process was verified using simulation in the program Simufact.Forming.
