Abstract

This work describes a crash simulation model and its creation. The theoretical part contains necessary knowledge to understand the topic related to this work including description of common crash test procedures. The practical part consists of model parameters including material models or element formulations. The conclusions summarize the results by discussing the frame compatibility and biomechanical criteria. In the end some recommendations are made. The appendix contains some additional visualizations during the crash.
