Abstract

This bachelor thesis deals with resolving problems of hard brazing heat exchangers with aluminium solder – the first theoretical section provides basic knowledge about brazing, information regarding the most used method in brazing, familiarization with the distribution and the properties of aluminium alloys, further kinds of defects that occur at the solder joints. In the experimental part, alternative options of brazing heat exchangers and a proposal of new technology of flame brazing are shown. The next part is an experiment of the induction brazing process with the introduction of a proposal of a process to achieve satisfactory solder joints.
