Abstract
The bachelor thesis focuses on the analyses of the forming parameters of the steel cylinders neck production. The analysis is carried out as a simulation of forming process using the QForm software. Simulation is done for die feed motion speed of 250 mm/min for cylinders with a diameter of 360 mm. The workpiece material is semi-chrome-molybdenum steel 34CrMo4. The main goal is to process the values obtained from the simulation, mainly force, torque and power. The gained forming parameters will be used to design a new forging machine for steel cylinders of a larger diameter.
